Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-07-26
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of visa.toolspopper.com (“Visa Tools,” “the site”), a ToolsPopper project. By using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the tools or content.
1. What this site is
Visa Tools publishes free educational planning tools and explanatory articles about selected US immigration topics (including H-1B fees, petition costs, grace periods, lottery weighting concepts, and priority-date / Visa Bulletin comparisons). The site is not a law firm, not a Department of Justice–recognized organization providing accredited representation, and not affiliated with USCIS, the Department of State, or DHS except as a public information consumer of their published materials.
2. Educational use only — no attorney-client relationship
Nothing on this site creates an attorney-client relationship. Tool outputs are general informational estimates and screenings based on fixed rules drawn from published government sources. They are not legal advice, not a filing strategy for your case, and not a substitute for advice from a licensed US immigration attorney or accredited representative who can review your facts.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape in a way that degrades service, or probe the site for vulnerabilities beyond good-faith security research disclosed to us;
- inject malware, attempt XSS/SQLi, or otherwise interfere with other users;
- misrepresent tool outputs as official USCIS determinations or as attorney work product;
- use the site to commit fraud, document fabrication, or unauthorized practice of law;
- remove copyright notices or republish substantial portions of our original explanatory text without permission (linking to pages is fine).
Automated access should respect robots.txt and reasonable rate limits.
4. Disclaimer of warranties (tool accuracy)
Immigration rules, fees, forms, lottery mechanics, and Visa Bulletin charts change — sometimes with little notice, and sometimes mid-litigation. We work to keep our published rules current, but the site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that any calculator result is complete, error-free, up to date for your filing date, or appropriate for your facts. Fee schedules, proclamation enforcement, and agency guidance may diverge from our last-reviewed snapshot.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ToolsPopper and the operators of Visa Tools are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, petition denials, missed deadlines, travel costs, or employer decisions made in reliance on this site. Our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US $100) or the amount you paid us to use the site in the prior twelve months (which is typically zero, because the tools are free).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent still allowed.
6. Intellectual property
Site design, original explanatory articles, and the organization of our published screening rules are owned by ToolsPopper or its licensors. US government works (proclamation text, USCIS pages, Visa Bulletin tables) remain subject to their own terms; we cite and link to them rather than claiming ownership. Trademarks of USCIS, DHS, DOS, and others belong to their respective owners.
7. Third-party links and ads
The site may link to USCIS.gov, whitehouse.gov, travel.state.gov, Federal Register documents, news reporting, and sibling ToolsPopper properties. We are not responsible for third-party content. Advertisements (including Google AdSense) are labeled; advertiser claims are not ours.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence apply. Courts in Delaware (or another venue we reasonably designate for a dispute) may hear disputes arising from these Terms, subject to those mandatory protections.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the site grows. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If a change is material to liability or acceptable use, we will aim to note it on this page.
