Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-07-26
This Cookie Policy explains how Visa Tools (visa.toolspopper.com) uses cookies and similar storage. Read it with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a site or third party stores on your device. Local storage and session storage can hold preferences without sending them on every request. We use these technologies for appearance preferences, optional on-device tool convenience, and — when enabled — advertising and analytics.
First-party storage we control
visa-theme— remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. Essential for the theme toggle; not used for advertising.- Optional calculator drafts — if a tool saves your last radio/dropdown selections locally, that data never has to hit our servers for the math to work. Clear it anytime via browser site-data controls.
Google AdSense / DoubleClick (when ads are enabled)
When AdSense is live, Google may set cookies such as IDE, DSID, __gads, __gpi, and related identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. Personalized ads can be limited at adssettings.google.com.
Analytics (when enabled)
If Google Analytics (or similar) is configured, cookies like _ga and _gid may be used to distinguish aggregate sessions. We use analytics to see which immigration tools are useful — not to reconstruct individual visa cases.
How to control cookies
Use your browser’s cookie and site-data settings to block or delete third-party cookies. Note that blocking ads entirely may leave empty labeled ad slots; that does not affect checker logic. Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals will be honored when a consent layer is configured to read them.
